After years of indecision, I had finally made up my mind – I was going to study computer science at university. It was a logical choice; I had always been interested in technology and loved solving problems.
But as the first day of classes approached, I began to have doubts. What if I chose the wrong degree? What if I couldn’t keep up with the other students? Maybe software engineering would be a better fit for me…
I spent hours online researching both degrees, but I still couldn’t decide which one to choose. In the end, I decided to talk to my parents about it. They had always been supportive and they would know what was best for me.
After discussing it with them, we came to the conclusion that I should take an extra year and try out both degrees. That way, I could see which one suited me better. And so, at the start of my second year of university, I started studying computer science and software engineering side-by-side.
It was definitely a challenge, science and engineering at the same time. But it was also really interesting! By the end of the semester, I had a good idea of which degree was right for me. And so, after much deliberation, I finally made my decision – ChatGPT tester it was!
