BUILDING BOLDLY
RESPONSIBLY.

We believe technology should make life better — not more complex, not more exploitative. Here is how we try to live that belief.

Our approach

Social responsibility at Love The Idea® isn't a policy document that gets reviewed once a year. It's built into how we choose what to build, who we work with, and how we run our business day to day. We move slowly, think long-term, and only build what we'd want to exist in the world.

Disability Confident

Love The Idea® is a Disability Confident Committed employer. We actively work to ensure our recruitment practices, workplace, and products are inclusive by design — not as a retrofit. We challenge unconscious bias and work with people of all abilities.

Tech for Good

We are committed to applying technology where it genuinely improves outcomes — in safety, education, health, and infrastructure. Our ecosystem brands (Keep Safe, SmallPrint, BuildApps) are built around solving real problems for real people, not optimising engagement metrics.

Prompt Payment

Love The Idea® is a signatory to the Prompt Payment Code. We commit to paying our suppliers on time, every time — typically within 30 days. We recognise that small businesses depend on reliable payment to survive, and we treat that obligation seriously.

Environmental responsibility

Our website emits approximately 0.02kg of CO₂ per visit — measured independently via CleverCarbon. We host on Cloudflare's global edge network which runs on renewable energy, and we optimise our code to minimise data transfer and server load.

We don't make grand net-zero commitments we can't back up. We make practical, measurable choices and report them honestly.

Safeguarding

Through our Keep Safe brand, we are deeply committed to safeguarding principles. Safeguarding isn't just a product we sell — it's embedded in how we run our business and how we assess any new initiative for potential harm.

Ethical supply chain

We do not knowingly work with suppliers who operate in ways that conflict with our values around human rights, labour practices, or environmental harm. Our Modern Slavery Statement sets out our position in full.

Community

We share our thinking openly through The Observatory. Our podcast, LTI Live, and our public research are all free to access. We believe sharing knowledge responsibly is itself a form of social value.
