Apple’s latest iPhone 7 and 7 plus is a game changer. Here’s why

Alas! After countless rumors and concept anticipations, finally it has now been put to an end. Apple has now revealed their latest products last September 7, 2016 at San Francisco California and announced that pre-orders are now open. Isn’t it great?! Latest apple gadgets will be available at the market on September 16! At the event Jeff Williams introduced the latest Apple Watch Series 2, and of course the most awaited, Phil Schiller discussed their breakthrough wireless headphones called AirPods along with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Now let’s dig in and check out its several new features!

Color & Design

One thing is for sure, the usual colors are there except for the Space Gray. Two new colors were added: Black and Jet Black. I know black alone looks good but Jet Black? That one is indeed black to the core. Plus, what’s striking about this new color is its glossy obelisk finish—achieved by rotational 3D polishing which gives it a mirror-like surface. Technically, it can be prone to scratches so you might need a phone protector for it. Unfortunately, Jet Black will only be available in 128GB and 256GB storage so if you like the color go big with the storage. The color is not just the new thing here, the actual placing of the antenna are now seamless. Here is a side by side photo comparison of the latest and previous model of iPhone.

If you thought the previous iPhones are not bright enough, check out their new one. It’s 25% more brighter and vivid. But other than that, it’s Retina HD with 3D touch and wide color gamut display. Meaning what you see on the screen is noticeably more vibrant. On the 3D touch side, what it basically offers is a different feel to every activities done on the phone. You can interact with its built in applications in a more powerful and responsive way.

Water and dust proof

Well it’s about time! IP67 certified they say, meaning you won’t have to worry about your iPhone getting wet or getting any corrosions with its latest innovation. Good decision that Apple finally made their latest iPhones’ water and dust resistant. They claim that it could last in water up to a meter for about 30 minutes. Just don’t get too giddy and actually letting it stay long in water.

Camera

There dual lens camera is available for iPhone 7 plus to deliver a wide-angle and telephoto captures which iPhone 7 doesn’t have. One thing is for sure both iPhone’s have six new element lens that can deliver an impressive shot. It has improved its optical image stabilizer for shaky hands, f/1.8 aperture for wide or long-range photo captures, incredible low light photography, incredibly fast ISP which responds 25 milliseconds, quad lead true tone flash for an almost artificial lighting, wide color gamut for vibrant pop out colors, high speed photo sensor, captures raw DND files, and an ultimate high resolution 7-megapixel camera for all time selfie addicts. In fact, Christopher Anderson had an early access or user experience with the latest camera feature and this is what he has to say, “This iPhone is going to be part of any professionals repertoire of tools. The camera Dan just handle lowlight, it rendered the separation of colors in a way that reminds me a film.  Just beautiful.” Neat right? What more to hear other than a professional photographer himself.

Home button

Since the home button is the most used key, that upgraded it. It’s now pressure-sensitive. All thanks to its Taptic Engine, Apple claims that it would be very responsive and will deliver a wide range of frequencies for an incredible feel. Throughout the user experience it’ll give you a nice taptic feedback with Quick actions, Messages,  Notifications, Ring tones and whatnot. Other third-party applications can also be programmed with this feature.

No headphone jack

Well, like information leaked a couple months ago, Apple decided to removed the conventional earphone jack. Not to worry for those aux cable users, they will include a lightning-to-aux adapter to all iPhone 7 and 7 Plus packages. They also unveiled their wireless headphones called AirPods. Unfortunately, this one does not come free with the iPhone package. It can be purchased separately with extra cost. But it’s worth the try. Some have already reacted that they might lose the AirPods just by looking at it. Well you can shell out with its latest technology which is worth trying. They added that it has a lot of features, from functionality down to efficiency. Bad thing is you might lose one or both; and if you do, you just lost a fair amount of money.

Storage capacities

The storage capacity available for their iPhone have upgraded. They are really changing the game here. Since they have a lot of feature memory really needs to be adjusted. iPhones are available from 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. If I were you, I would get the highest data this phones pacts quite a lot of wallop and it needs storage for it to function well.

Speakers

It’s the first stereo speakers ever built on an iPhone. What’s great about this is its packed with two speakers with increased dynamic range. One on top and one at the bottom. Now, that’s twice the volume of our old iPhones. This will be a great experience for Apple fans out there who love to listen to music, play games, and watch online movies for a louder sound quality.

Performance

Apple claims that it’s their most powerful chip ever —A10 Fusion is 40 percent faster than the previous A9 processor. With its four-core CPU build with 3.3 billion transistors. It’s two cores deliver high performance and high efficiency. Their Apple design performance controllers are able to run efficient performance and longer battery life. Its GPU is now a lot faster enabling Lightroom, Photoshop, Video games and more to run possibly on a smartphone.

Well, that’s just it for now. Apple really never fail to amaze us and stack up against the competition. Everyone are now waiting to get a hold of these bad boys. So what are you waiting for? Reserve yours now! Here’s a video for the recap.
